Meets at Birstall Library on Thursday, Last week of every month, 05:30-06:30
We are a group of ten, this number is fixed by the number of books available in sets through the library system. We could supplement those for extra members by requesting extra copies from the library system at the standard charge but so far have decided not to do this. We feel that ten members at the meeting works well and most of our group attend most of the time. We meet every month on the last Thursday, from 5.30 - 6.30 at our local library. We are quite a lively crowd and enjoy a good discussion with very varied opinions. Because the books we read are limited to what\'s available, we read a wide selection, mostly fiction, which we all agree would not always be what we would choose ourselves. Sometimes, it\'s a challenge!
For the reason given above, we do not have any spare capacity for new members at the moment but will welcome anyone who wants to be added to the waiting list.
