The Good Book Group
We are a friendly, informal group which meets in the houses of our members once a month to discuss an agreed book (we are very democratic!). We usually try to have a list of books for the next few months so that members can read ahead if they want to. Our book choices this year have been very wide ranging, including The Song of Achilles, Out Stealing Horses, State of Wonder and Tiny Sun Birds Far Away. We all read lighter books at times but we try to choose books with a bit more to them for discussion. We usually meet on a Wednesday evening at 8pm, although this is not set in stone. If you want to join us there is no compulsion to host. Just bring yourself and any ideas for future reads.
