The Pre-School Parents' Book Club

This is a daytime book club for the parents of preschool children who like to relax (when they get the chance) with a good book. We meet in the children's area of the Library @ Westcroft where we supervise our children whilst discussing the previous month's books. Every month there is a choice of two books available: a short read (such as a QuickRead) as well as a normal book club size book. Members are asked to have at least completed the one of the books for discussion at the next meeting. ** Please note, we do not run as a traditional bookclub. We ask that you have read at least one of the books to allow discussion at the following meeting and book discussions are facilitated to encourage the benefits of reading. Due to the nature of the group and individual time constraints, we run a replica virtual group via the goodreads site is to encourage further, more in depth discussion on any of our books that our meetings may not have time for and to aid continuity for busy members**
