Tightly written and well constructed novel. A war-time espionage tale that left me wondering just what happened in the weeks and days that led up to D-Day. Everybody had their part to play if Hitler was to be out-manoeuvred and the sides were depending on accurate assessment of the massing of troops and the area where the anticipated assault would land in Europe. Perhaps the battle would be won by successful mis-information as much as by the bravery of the troops in battle? A good read.
