Marty loves her Converse trainers, playing football, hiding in her secret den and helping her dad with his DIY. But her sister Melissa loves Justin Bieber and all things pink, girly and pretty. The sisters can manage to live together, despite their occasional scraps but then Mum tells them they have to share a room.

It compares an elegant character and an adventurous character as sisters and shows the chemistry between them, I totally recommend it.

I really enjoyed this book: it was fast-paced, funny and very heartwarming at the end. A clever idea for a story in which two very different sisters have to share a room and how it eventually brings them together and they realise that they actually love each other and they become very close.

Recommended to girls and boys 8+

This book is about girly sister Melissa and tomboy sister Marty. I like it because, like many siblings, they argue and fight a lot. It is very realistic and includes all sorts of things sisters would fight about. When a terrible accident happens, Marty realizes that Melissa is not as bad as she thought. The book is very funny and enjoyable to read.
