I love this book. It’s not long… 64 pages… but it is the perfect length for to world you are drawn into, and for anyone who struggles with processing large volumes of text.

You follow Arthur Adley following his diagnosis of ME, how it affects him physically, mentally and how he faces losing the family farm and his livelihood. I chuckled, I shed a tear or two, and at the end of each chapter I just wanted to know more.

I felt so drawn into the environment the author creates, the relationship the protagonist has with all the animals but most especially his sheep dog Jess, and the people who are brought into the journey you are taken on.

I also found it thought provoking and illuminating regarding ME and the reality of living with a diagnosis like that.

Definitely pleased to have added this to my home library.
