Woodlands Pop up Book Club were lucky enough to receive free copies of this book through this website. It was an ideal read for a book club. It stimulated a lot of discussion. We talked about wealth and class enabling a lot of the women to achieve when they did. We noted how often they had supportive and enlightened fathers, brothers and husbands. It reminded us how recent and fragile our rights as women are and how important it is to defend and exercise them. We agreed it would make a perfect gift for the young women in our lives.
