Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.

A sweet book with a nice, easy plot. Great for the slightly more mature reader, as lots of themes of death and romance, but a true 'young adult' story.

This story is set in America and tells the story of a teenage girl who meets and falls in love with a boy…at a cancer support group. They also share a love of books and discuss one book in particular, An Imperial Affliction. They even get to go to Amsterdam to meet the author, and it is on the trip that their love blossoms. But they cannot escape their own afflictions and have to face hard truths. The book is sad and yet hopeful and is incredibly beautifully written.

This book made me think a lot about everything like the meaning of life and stuff and I would really recommend it to other people.

This book is so sad, beautiful and emotionally powerful. It's very inspirational, especially to children or teenagers that are cancer survivors. It is a romance book so I would personally recommend it to anyone 14+ or people who have an interest in romance books. However, if you have a mature mind at the age of 10 or 11, this book might also be for you like me. My favourite character is Hazel because she doesn't let anybody get in her way and likes to do things the way she wants it. She also doesn't let anyone bring her down.

A real page-turner, it makes you realize how hard life with cancer can be. It is about a girl called Hazel who has lung cancer and her life is turned upside-down when she meets Augustus Waters at her cancer support group...

It is absolutely amazing, inspirational and tragic. It makes you laugh and cry at the same time and brings us into a child with cancer's point of view.

The Fault In Our Stars is a very moving book that has touched the hearts of hundreds of readers and non-readers a like, as it has been made into a successful movie. (Although I think the book is better.) It meets all genres as it is funny, romantic, happy and very sad. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good read.

I loved this book! Fully of quirky and witty parts throughout. Made me laugh, cry and fall in love with each character. Shows the depth of how your flaws can be perfection in someone else's eyes - really digs deep into teen struggles with physical and mental health issues. The work of a true genius.

emotional and heart wrenching book. a heart-breaking yet comforting book. Augustus was a great character, really caring and is someone you only come past once in 5 lifetimes; everyone needs him in their life.

Didn't think reading a book could honestly make me cry as much as this one book did. It's heart breaking yet so comforting. I fell in love with the character Augustus, we all need one of these in our lives. This book opens you up to how dreadful and life ruining cancer can be. Okay? okay.

This is a very good book with a beautiful insight to cancer and how they not only affect the patients lives, but the people around them. Even though I have never suffered with anything similar, it felt like I was living in the house with them all.
