Clay is one of those rare books that stays with you long after finishing. Set is a modern urban park we meet a set of characters that all have a poignant story to tell. Each character is displaced in same way and unlikely friendships are formed. Interspersed within the novel page is some beautiful nature writing as we learn about the natural history of the park though the year. Beautiful and moving
